The Lexington Cross Country team has had a great season and seven runners from each team have qualified for the State meet this Saturday. Members of the girls’ team are Luisa Bailey, Ingrid Espinoza, Adeline Gower, Faith Humbolt, Brooklyn Johnson, Addie Lippel, Marilyn Lucero, Lily Privett and Meagan Smith. Members of the boys’ team include Zeke Faulkenberry, Tucker Flemming, Karson Gustin, Cameron Haley, Logan Haynes, Boston Huffert, Kaleb Matthews, Colt Mixon, Hunter Olsen, Elijah Pearman, Klauen Shird, Jarrett Stone, Booth Vaughn and Cash Vaughn. State qualifiers are Espinoza, Gower, Humbolt, Lippel, Lucero, Privet, Smith, Faulkenberry, Haley, Huffert, Pearman, Shird, Stone and Booth Vaughn.

Rielyn Scheffe was crowned Regional Champion in last weekend’s cross country meet. She legged a 12.53.
