Wanda May (Forehand) Caruthers was born on May 3, 1945 and passed away December 26, 2023 at home with her daughters at her side.
She was born in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, to Henry Coleman Forehand and Nora Bell (Clay) Forehand. Wanda was the youngest of seven children, Cliff, Irvin, Bill, Lessie, Ione and Curtis.
Wanda was married to Joseph Henry Edwards and they had three daughters, Alicia (Lisa), Felicia (Darlene) and Lora. Joe passed in 1987 and she then married Claude Caruthers. Claude passed in 2011.
She was a homemaker, a school bus driver and a retired DOC officer. A long-time resident of Tribbey, Okla., on the family farm since 1970.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. at the Tribbey Cemetery with a lunch following at the Senior Center, west of Tribbey.
