Ronny was born July 4, 1956, at Norman Regional Hospital in Norman, Oklahoma. He worked in construction with his father, Marvin, from a very early age and continued that for many years. Ronny built several homes including his current residence, doing every aspect of construction primarily by himself.
He was an expert painter, previously running businesses in home and automotive painting. In later years, Ronny started with the Post Office in 1989 and retired due to illness in 2019. His dog Boomer was a loyal and trusted friend, whom he adopted from his mail route.
Motocross was a passion to Ronny, and he was a very accomplished racer in his younger years with countless trophies and sponsorship. In later life, he enjoyed a minimalist simple life, caring for the family mule, and tending to the property.
Of the many things in life Ronny was thankful for, his son Chad’s good health after his childhood battle with life threatening asthma was something that often stood out.
Ronny was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Clifton Williamson; his mother, Thelma Roberta (Berta) Tyler; and stepfather Eddie Tyler.
Survivors include his wife of 11 years, Beth; his son, Chad and wife, Olivia; his brother, Donny and wife, Melissa; his two stepsisters, Debbie and April Tyler; his one stepson, Alex Tidball and wife, Caroline; his two stepdaughters, Jill Alderman and husband, Cory, and Haley Meek and husband, Travis; and he was Poppa Ronny to grandchildren, Emma, Molly, Alice, Forest, Oliver, Finnly and Eno.
