Private services for Lori Spears, 64, of Lexington will be held at a later date. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2024 from 12 to 7 p.m. at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home. Services will be under the direction of the Wilson-Little Funeral Home of Purcell.
Mrs. Spears passed away Saturday, July 6, 2024.
Lori Denise Graybeal was born February 22, 1960 in Sacramento, California, the younger of two daughters born to Robert LeRoy Graybeal and Kay Ellen (Brumbaugh) Graybeal. She was raised in Citrus Heights where she attended school, and graduated from San Juan High School with the Class of 1978.
Lori married young to Bob Todd, a young man from the Lexington/Wanette area, and they soon settled back in Oklahoma. After Bob’s sudden passing, Lori married Charlie Spears. She welcomed his children, Ryan, Charlie, Kelly and Kerry and they later added a son, Roy Lee.
Lori worked for McClain Bank for nearly 15 years, and then as a Correctional Records Officer for the Oklahoma Department of Corrections at Joseph Harp. For the last 20 years, she has enjoyed the companionship of her best friend and soul mate, Randy Madden.
Away from work, she enjoyed spending time outdoors, boating and fishing. She loved animals of all kinds, riding 4 wheelers and working cattle. Lori loved a good country song, and was a huge NASCAR fan, and she made sure you knew her favorite driver was Martin Truex JR, or simply #19!
She cherished family time, and lived a simple, quiet life. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Kay Graybeal and husbands, Bob Todd and Charlie Spears.
Lori is survived by her children, Roy Lee Spears of Lexington, Ryan J. Spears and wife, Christa, of Lexington, Charlie Spears III and wife, Sonny, of Noble, Kelly Hennessey and husband, John, of Norman and Kerry Inhofe and husband, Kyle, of Moore; her companion, Randy Madden of Lexington; sister, Cheryl Kay Rilje and husband, Mike, of Rosedale, California; numerous grandchildren and other family and friends.
