Meeting in special session Monday evening, the Purcell city council made short work of a brief agenda.
A $73,220 change order from Orr Construction was approved on a 3-2 vote. Dissenting votes were by Jay Tate and Allen Eubanks.
The change order covers a modification in the concrete slab at the Canadian Avenue lift station project.
The change was necessary because of groundwater elevation.
Also approved was a change order from Waldrop Construction for surgical light hanging at the new hospital.
Waldrop withdrew a second change order on the agenda for remobilization and landscaping at the new hospital.
