With La Nina remaining in control, rainfall is scarce in most parts of Oklahoma including Central Oklahoma.
The heaviest rain in recent weeks came Monday night when .4” was recorded. Additional rain fell in spurts Tuesday morning.
That .4” added to the .2” that fell October 9 and the .1” that was recorded October 8 gives Purcell 30.75” for the year-to-date.
Oklahoma City is reporting a total this year of 20.32”. Normal for the year-to-date is 30.68”.
