A power outage early last Friday morning made getting ready for school and work a little bit more challenging for about half of Purcell’s residents.
Power went out to parts of town about 6:40 a.m. and was off for about 50 minutes.
Purcell Electric Department Supervisor Trey Phillips said a pine tree limb broke and laid across all three lines between Fourth Street and the new junior high school building.
